The Piedmont Experience

For more than a century, Piedmont Healthcare has been a recognized leader in delivering innovative medical care and services. Last year, Piedmont served nearly two million patients - performing over 44,000 surgeries, delivering 8,000 babies, providing 471,695 outpatient encounters, completing 235 organ transplants and handling nearly 250,000 emergency room visits.

At Piedmont, the power of technology will never replace the power of a personal touch. That's why we build long-term patient relationships and strong connections within our communities. Our single hospital has grown into an integrated healthcare system of five hospitals and close to 100 physician and specialist offices across greater Atlanta and North Georgia.

Piedmont is committed to providing compassionate, world class care to our patients and conducting business in an ethical and honest manner and within the bounds of the law. This Code of Conduct is intended to provide employees, physicians, volunteers, vendors, governing board members and other agents with guidelines for conducting business in a manner which satisfies this standard.

We have built our reputation of excellence and enhance our services to deliver a whole new level of compassionate care, and time for discovering new treatment options while providing technology and tools that give patients the information they need - and the voice they deserve in choosing their healthcare. The Piedmont Promise defines our belief that every person who walks into a Piedmont Healthcare facility should be cared for in a genuine, respectful and heartfelt way, and treated by some of the world's best doctors using the latest medical technology.

Our Hiring Process

Piedmont Healthcare offers many opportunities to help you find and build a rewarding career, and our application and screening process is designed to help us identify the best candidates for our openings. Our career opportunities are updated several times each day, so be sure to check back often for new postings.

Step 1: Profile & Application
Through our careers site, you can review job opportunities, then create a new user account or login with an existing account and apply. Remember that you must meet the minimum qualifications listed on the job description to be considered. Once you apply for an open position, be sure to monitor your email box closely for communications from our Talent Acquisition team. You can log into the career portal any time to check the status of your application and/or to update your profile or add/update information (i.e., resume, certifications, etc.). To do so, go to our careers site and follow the link to log back into the career portal with the username and password you previously established.

Step 2: Candidate Review & Screening
Talent Acquisition will review your application to determine whether your background and experience are a good match for the position(s) for which you’ve applied. If so, you will be contacted via telephone and/or email to discuss your application and potential next steps including, for example, a phone or in-person interview. If you’re not selected, you will receive an email indicating such.

Step 3: Interview
The interview process may include a mix of telephone, in-person and/or video methods. Typically, phone interviews help our recruiters narrow down the field of candidates by discussing qualifications and other details that may help to differentiate you from other applicants. If you remain a strong candidate for the position, the next step would be to schedule an interview between you and the hiring manager, and possibly others. If you are selected for an in-person interview, you will be instructed on where to go or what to do. If you are an internal candidate and you are selected to interview, at this point your current manager will be notified by our Talent Acquisition team for awareness purposes only.

Step 4: Offer of Employment & Hire
After careful review and consideration of all applicants, a hiring decision will be made. If you are selected, you will be contacted by your Recruiter with a contingent offer. Your contingent offer will include details such as pay, full- or part-time status, work location, hiring manager, etc. You must electronically accept the contingent offer to move forward in the process. Once you accept, you will receive information on where to go to complete your health screening and how to electronically submit needed information and documentation. Your contingent offer based upon your successful completion of Piedmont’s verification process, which includes a background check, professional reference check and pre-employment health screening (including a drug and TB skin test), as well as proof of your eligibility to work in the United States. Upon successful completion of the verification process, you will be officially hired. If you are not selected for the position, you will receive a phone and/or email notification.
